Hi, Friends!!  I love this dress today.  Bring on the stripes, am I right?  BRING IT ON!  And if you can’t tell by my super clever title, this dress is from Gabrielle Union’s collection at New York & Company.  Get it? Gabrielle Union? Bring It On?  You get it.  I recently read her book, We’re Going to Need More Wine, and she talked about her experience making the movie, Bring It On.  I think that’s why it’s on my mind.  Her character, Isis, was definitely a boss babe.   I think grown up Isis would wear this dress.

This dress is so sophisticated, like the rest of the pieces in Gabby’s collection, and I love the color.  I was drawn to this “pesto green” color because it’s unique…it definitely stands out.  The dress also comes in black and white, and Gabrielle Union wore the black and white version in the promo shots for this new collection.   I’ve been eyeing the dress ever since I saw her wearing it. I love the shoulder and waist details.  I think because of those details, the horizontal stripes still manage to look flattering.  I’m wearing a medium for reference.  Would you rock this dress?
