Hello, Friends!! I’m back…yay! I’ve got lots of content lined up, so hopefully no more delays. Today’s look is all about business casual. I’ve mentioned before (here) that I work in a business casual office. I basically only wear business professional attire if I have a meeting or a work-related event to attend after work. I actually wore this look to work on the day I took these pictures, though I wore silver flats, like these, at my office instead of the heels. I generally don’t wear heels at work most days because I’m not about that life. If I’m going out after work, I’ll bring heels with me and switch shoes at the end of the day. I like to be comfortable at work! This look might be on the more casual side for many offices, but I like it because it still looks put together. Since the shirt is untucked, the pants with the slimmer leg make the look chic. It might look sloppy if I was wearing a wider leg pant. I accessorized this look with a metallic clutch and metallic heels. I got both of those items several years ago…the clutch was from Forever 21 and the shoes were from Target. But, of course, I’ve linked to similar items below.
I don’t know if you guys have been following along on my Instagram, but I’ve recently joined Houston Tidbits Front Row, which is a membership that includes “frequent VIP perks, no-strings-attached gifts and oodles of private event invitations.” I joined a couple of weeks ago, and I’ve already been to a couple of events! You can see some of my pics here and here. So far it has been a blast…definitely worth the cost of the membership! There is another event this week at Kendra Scott that should be a lot of fun. It’s a polish party! My nails need some work, so I’m looking forward to that. Because I’ve been doing so many fun things lately, I’ve started doing Instagram stories. I’m not good at using that newfangled technology yet, but I’ll get better. Lol. So make sure to follow along with me on Instagram for pics and stories from all these events. Have an amazing week, and thanks so much for reading!!!
