Merry Christmas Eve Eve!!! 2 more days until Christmas!!! Y’all, my last minute shopping game is ON POINT. I’m pretty much done with my Christmas shopping, and I only started yesterday! Woot woot! I deserve a prize (or a gift from my Holiday Gift Guide 😉 ). Anyway, since Christmas day falls on a Sunday this year, I hope all of you Christians out there are planning to go to church!! Let’s not forget Jesus is the real reason for Christmas!! He is the ultimate gift! So, if you are wondering what to wear to church or to a nice get-together on Christmas day, I’m here to help!! Does this top look familiar?? It’s the dress from this post! As I mentioned previously, one of my favorite fashion tricks is wearing a dress as a top. Using this trick can give your wardrobe such mileage! Just think of every dress you have in your closet that you love, even the ones you don’t love, you can remix them by throwing on a skirt to give it a whole different look. For this look, I threw on a black tulle skirt, black belt with gold accents, and red bow pumps for my pop of color. With the exception of the red bow pumps, I’ve either worn or discussed the rest of the items in this look in previous posts (The grid/windowpane dress here // The black tulle skirt was inspired by my post on midi skirts // The black belt here). You should definitely consider a similar combo for Christmas day!
I’m still not sure what I’m going to wear on Christmas day. Like I said in a recent Instagram post, the only thing of which I’m certain is that I want to wear these red bow pumps! I have big plans of making a DIY outfit to wear on Christmas Day. We’ll see if I achieve this goal, but if I do, you’ll see the pics! A few years ago, I got a sewing machine for Christmas because I wanted to learn how to sew. I’ve tried my hand at a few sewing projects with the help of YouTube, but I am by no means good at it yet! I still have to consult the sewing machine manual every time I decide to sew something. I need to take a class…or a series of classes. Anyhoo, stay tuned to see what I end up wearing. If it works out, I’ll post the outfit on Christmas day. Pray for me! haha. I hope all of you have an awesome Christmas weekend!!! Thanks so much for reading!!
