It’s September 22nd, which means it’s officially fall! Happy Fall, Friends and Sleevenistas! If you haven’t already started indulging in pumpkin spice everything, now’s your chance! There are so many reasons I love fall, from the leaves changing, to the cooler temperatures, to the cozy feeling fall gives off. It’s such a great time of year! Two of my favorite things about fall have to be the fall fashion and the fall home decor. I seriously cannot get enough. Today I’m sharing how I decorate my home and how I update my wardrobe for fall! Of course, I’ll let you in on my favorite places to buy everything as well!
Fall Home Decor
When it comes to fall home decor, I love oranges, yellows, and reds! These colors are perfect for brightening up your home, while also making it warm and cozy. Some of my favorite ways to add these colors into my living spaces are with throw pillows and blankets! A fall-colored pillow or throw blanket adds that warm pop of color and can easily transform your space.
I also love a good fall wreath! There are so many gorgeous wreaths that incorporate autumn leaves, pinecones, pumpkins, and more, and they make a home feel so inviting! Another way to make your home fall-ready is by adding fall florals throughout. Pampas grass is gorgeous for fall, and using red, yellows, and oranges in your floral arrangements will also do the trick!

Fall Fashion
Now, let’s talk about my favorite part of fall…the fall fashion! To me, fall fashion is all about warm colors, layering pieces, and booties. Some of my favorite colors to wear for fall are burnt orange, burgundy, mauve, and green. I also love incorporating plaid into my fall wardrobe and tans and creams!
When it comes to layering pieces, I love a good denim or leather jacket or a cute cardigan! What’s great about these layering pieces is all of the outfit possibilities they create. One day you could wear a dress with a denim jacket and booties, and the next you could wear that same dress with a cardigan and mules for a totally different look. Each piece is so versatile and definitely a staple in my closet!
Lastly, I absolutely love booties for fall. Booties are another very versatile staple because so many outfits look great with booties! They can be dressed up or down, worn with jeans, work pants, dresses, or skirts. The options are endless! I’d recommend having one good pair of black and tan/nude booties, and you’ll be set for fall!
