Hi, Friends and Sleevenistas!! I’m trying to start a new morning routine and I realized about an hour ago (it’s almost 6 am) that I have quite a bit of content that I have shot but haven’t yet shared with y’all, even on Instagram! Oops. But I’ll try to work on them this week because soon it’ll be too cold to wear some of those things! Haha.
Anyway, on to today’s look! My original plan was to post this all-pink look in October to recognize breast cancer awareness, but alas, it’s November. But please, make sure you’re taking care of your breast health, ladies!! Do self-checks regularly and get a mammogram, as required by your doctor. Early detection is key!
But back to the look, I love this all-pink look. This Good Vibes tee is super comfortable and pairs well with the pink tie waist pants and the cardigan….and, of course, the white pumps! You thought I was leaving my white pumps behind after labor day? You were wrong!! lol. Fashion rules are meant to be broken, amirite? The white pumps actually brought this look together for me. I had been wanting to put together this look (the tee, pants, and cardigan) since August, but it never quite looked right. I knew it would all work well together, but the shoes I was pairing it with and my hairstyles just were not working.
One thing I would like to share with you guys about putting together a look from what’s in your closet is that sometimes it takes some trial and error. I even had a photoshoot where I shot this look with Adidas superstar sneakers and with my hair down, but I thought I looked so frumpy. When I put my hair up and added heels, it finally came together! So, all that to say…try out different things to make your look work. Different shoes, different accessories, or even a different hairstyle can make all the difference in how you feel on any given day or how your outfit works together.
I hope that helps! Now, for some very important news: my birthday is in TWO days! I can’t believe it. It’s so soon! I haven’t done anything to prep. I haven’t planned a party…nothing. Oh well. With my birthday also comes my blog anniversary!! It’ll be 3 years of the Queen of Sleeves! Hopefully, I’ll have a blog post ready to go that day. My goal is to share 3 things I’ve learned over the last 3 years of blogging! (I’m still thinking about what those 3 things might be…I’ve learned quite a bit over these 3 years). Stay tuned.
Have a great week, and thanks so much for reading!
