Hi, Friends and Sleevenistas!! Spring is here! Yay! Hello, spring! We’ve missed you!  I hope the arrival of spring will bring consistently great weather.  So far so good over here in Houston.  The weather has been all over the place lately.  Last week, it was in the 40s!  But now it’s back to normal temperatures, thank goodness.  Spring is my favorite season because the weather is pretty and mild, the flowers are blooming, and people wear all kinds of beautiful colors and flowy dresses like this one!

This gorgeous dress is another Amazon find! Is it not the most beautiful, flattering, romantic dress you’ve ever seen?!! Hyperbole aside, I really love this dress and, to be honest, I was surprised at how great it turned out!  I found it one day while I was searching on Amazon, and I dropped it on my wishlist for later.  I wasn’t sure how it would look on because there were no reviews yet, so no pictures of other people wearing it.  P.S. That’s one thing I love about Amazon…the reviews! So many people are willing to leave reviews with pictures and that’s so helpful when trying to figure out what size to get and how something will fit.  Anyway, even without the reviews and pictures, I decided to chance it! Y’all know yellow is my color, and I loved the chiffon and ruffles. I’m wearing a size L for reference.  This is a PERFECT dress for Easter Sunday, it’s also great for any spring event – weddings, brunches, baby/bridal showers, Kentucky Derby, or any other events where the dress code would call for a pretty dress.  I’m seriously thinking that this yellow ruffle dress will be my Easter dress this year…so pretty.  I even got several compliments when doing this shoot!
