Remember when I talked about my trip to New Orleans in these posts (here, here)? This is one of my favorite looks from my trip. I bought this awesome sweater poncho (or whatever they’re called) from Old Navy for like $10!! Unfortunately, I can’t find this exact one to link to, but I’ve found something similar. I’ve always liked the idea of using a belt to cinch a poncho or blanket scarf in such a way that makes it look like a top. It’s also more flattering, since it defines a waist. Also, little known fact…this is my first pair of booties…ever. I’ve always thought they look strange on my legs, but this one is cute, right?

Monochrome!!! I have been wanting to achieve a grey monochrome look for awhile now, but I didn’t have all the pieces, until recently. I love the way this look turned out! Also, these are the grey version of the Banana Republic Sloan fit pants I was raving about in this post.

Happy Sunday! Today’s post is going to be short and sweet. Last week was HECTIC, so I’ve been a little behind on blogging. But don’t worry, I am working on new winter/holiday content, including a holiday gift guide! Speaking of gifts…I have yet to buy a single Christmas gift. Smh. I know…I need to get my life together. Anyhoo, the weather temperatures have finally dropped over here in Houston. It’s cold! Though I think the temperatures are about to go back up because that’s what happens here. Oh well.
