Hi, Friends and Sleevenistas! It’s no secret that I love a good pop of color and my closet is filled with many colorful pieces. Colors trend just like fashion does, and I am obsessed with some of the bright colors trending this season. Today, I’m sharing a round-up of some of my favorite pieces from those trending colors that I just know y’all will love!
The trending colors I’m loving right now are citron/lime, blue, and hot pink! I cannot get enough of these colors. They also coordinate really well together, so they’re fun to mix and match, like the citron/lime top paired with blue pumps in my look above. I love bright colors for fall and will wear these colors and pieces all season long!
Citron/Lime
For an extra fun, bright outfit, I love lime and citron! Some brands use the names of these colors interchangeably, but either way, they both pop with every look and are so gorgeous. The best thing about lime and citron is that they are unique colors that aren’t always easy to find, so they really stand out! I love that they’re trending right now! Lime and citron complement black and white prints so well, and I love pairing them together. My outfit above is a great example. Citron and lime also look great with denim and can easily be dressed up or down. I recently purchased a citron bodysuit, a lime dress, and have been eying a gorgeous lime sweater! If you’re looking for fun and unique colors to try for fall, citron and lime are for you!
Blue
The color blue is so trendy right now in so many shades that I couldn’t pick just one! I love the color blue because there is a shade for everyone, no matter your skin tone! A few of my favorite shades that are trending now are royal blue, aqua blue, and teal. Royal blue is classic and bold while aqua and teal are both so pretty! You can’t go wrong with any shade of blue. I am currently obsessing over sweater dresses, cardigans, and wrap skirts in blue. Brighter blues are such a fun alternative to the standard fall colors!
Hot Pink
Elle Woods said it best, “Whoever said orange was the new pink was seriously disturbed!” Don’t get me wrong, I love orange as much as the next girl but there is something about pink that will forever have my heart, especially hot pink. Hot pink is so girly and fun, and it never goes out of style! I recently bought a hot pink blazer and matching hot pink pants. I plan to pair it either with a teal or blue top for a fun look with two trending colors! I also love a hot pink dress paired with heels or boots or a hot pink sweatshirt paired with leggings for a casual, everyday outfit! Whether you’re wanting to get dressed up or keep it casual, adding hot pink to your outfit is always a good idea.
While neutral and dark colors are often associated with fall, take advantage of all the fun, bright colors trending this season. Adding a pop of color to an outfit creates such a fun look, no matter the season! Whether you choose to add citron or lime, a shade of blue, or hot pink, you are sure to wow this fall.
