Happy two days post-Christmas, Friends!! I hope you all had an awesome holiday weekend!! I know I did. Before I tell you about it, let me just note that, for some reason, my last post wasn’t sent out to email subscribers. Make sure you check it out here if you missed it!! Ok…back to Christmas. My Christmas was great! I mentioned in my last post that I had big plans of making a DIY outfit to wear on Christmas…that didn’t happen. However, for those of you who follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you saw that I did indeed wear the red bow pumps from my last post and this Instagram post along with a red dress I got from JCPenney (found here, unfortunately only one size left!). You can check out my Christmas look here, in case you missed it. Also, in case you missed it (you can see the post here), my family hooked me up with some great gifts from my Holiday Gift Guide (I’m glad they caught on to my not-so-subtle hints)! If you don’t want to miss any posts or pics, please follow the blog on Instagram and Facebook.
So, NYE is on Saturday! Wow. I can’t believe we have reached the end of 2016. I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to 2017!! I’ll reflect on 2016 in a later post, but in case you are looking for inspiration on what to wear on NYE, try this: GOLD!! Sequins!! Sparkle!! For this look, I paired an old Michael Kors sequin dress with an ivory H&M blazer and sparkly accessories! Throwing on a fun blazer is a good way to revamp an outfit. I’ve had this dress for years, but I love how the blazer takes the dress to another level and creates a different look. I’m not sure yet what my NYE plans are going to be. I can’t decide if I want to chillax or have a fun night out. Are you doing anything special for NYE?? If so, let me know what you’re doing in the comments (maybe I can live vicariously through you)!! Have a great week, and thanks so much for reading!
