Meet Shiraba
Hi, Friends!!! So, you guys have seen a couple of posts now (here and here) of me in pieces made by Shiraba, and now you can meet her! Eunice/Shiraba is a very talented designer who was kind enough to send me some of her pieces as part of a collaboration between her and Queen of Sleeves. We were supposed to do a shoot together, but we weren’t able to make it happen, so this post is my version of our collaboration shoot. She designed both of these looks and obviously, she made mine with sleeves!! Aren’t these dresses amazing? I love my dress…the white is so gorgeous with the pop of Ankara. Perfect for summer!! She made it custom for me. She got my measurements, and it was sent to me. Apparently, this is a service she offers! How cool is that? You can talk to her more if you are interested in having something made for you. Here is more about her in her own words:
“My name is Eunice, although some may know me as Shiraba. I am an African fashion blogger, Stylist, Student & Owner of I AM SHIRABA Online Store and Brand.
My brand Shiraba (meaning blessed child) is one that showcases beautiful yet unique ankara pieces. The idea is simple: you just add the pieces to spice up your plain dresses or different clothing to make it fun, chic, colorful and more importantly exciting. It is a great way to have a mix of both ankara as well as your western clothing. Above all I strive to have all my pieces be a blessing to everyone that comes in contact with it hence the name Shiraba!!

Isn’t that awesome?! A woman after my own heart. You all know how much I love wearing Ankara pieces in my wardrobe, so this collaboration is perfect!
