Hi, Friends and Sleevenistas! First of all, if you are unaware of the super adorable movie, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before on Netflix, you need to watch it and thank me later. It’s so cute. I’ve watched it no less than 4 times. Anyway, it has been weeks since I’ve returned from NYC, and yet we are just coming to my NYFW recap for Day 2, To All the Boots I’ve Loved Before! On Day 2, I wore this outfit including these awesome pink boots.
The first thing on my agenda was a show. I headed back to the main venue for another runway show I wasn’t invited to. lol. In fact, I requested an invite and was straight up denied. They said they were full. My friend was invited, but couldn’t make the trip, so I used her invite. Anyway, back to the show, the Taoray Wang SS19 Show. It was beautiful! I loved this show, and there were a lot of truly wonderful sleeves! Also, some very cool looks for the office. Here are a few of my favorite looks from the show: (Pics from the show from HERE.)
Also, as a random side note, Tiffany Trump was there. (Keeping politics out of this post, so I will not comment on my thoughts about her father. Not today.) That was interesting. Apparently, she wears Taoray Wang often. I think she got booed when she arrived into the show. After the show, Chimee and I went to explore the venue a bit and ended up riding the elevator with her. Chimee and I were both looking at each other like what are we supposed to do with this. It was weird. lol. She was so close to me I actually wondered about her security. It’s not like they checked me out! It’s sorta funny because I saw her mom last year at fashion week. Anyhoo, Chimee and I’s exploration of the venue included its gorgeous rooftop.
After the show, we headed to Chelsea Pier to grab some lunch then head to the next runway show. We met up with Chantal and Bianca there. The three of them ended up abandoning me, so I went to the Oxford Runway Shows by myself. That was an interesting experience. There were several designers in the one show, and after the show, there was champagne! So, that was really nice. I ended up hanging out with some blogger friends that I had met at NYFW last year. It was so much fun! Lots of wine and champagne! Then I headed to the Liketoknow.it party. More on both of those in my next post!
Have a great weekend, and thanks so much for reading!
