Hi friends!!! Once again, apologies for being MIA. I’m trying to get my life together!!! I have been working on some new, spring looks, some of which I plan to shoot today actually. You’re going to love them (God willing)!! Hopefully, I’ll get back on my regular schedule of posting twice a week by next week.   I have been posting pretty regularly on Instagram, so keep up with me on there if you don’t already!

I’m so excited that we’ve made it to spring!! Spring is my favorite time of year because the weather is often so perfect, even in Houston. As someone who doesn’t do sleeveless, this is my time to shine! It’s easy to find sleeves in the fall and winter, but dressing in sleeves for the spring and summer is where it gets interesting! Lol. Stick with me, friends, and I won’t steer you wrong!

So today I’m talking about my spring wishlist, as you can see above!! These are items I have been looking to incorporate into my wardrobe for Spring.  Some I’ve already purchased, others I am still hunting for, and yet others I have similar items already in my closet, I just need to figure out how to update them!!!  Below is the list of items:

1. Off the Shoulder top – As you all are well aware, I love off the shoulder looks, and yes, I still consider them sleeved looks.  As long as my arm is mostly covered, I’m good to go!  Off the shoulder looks were really big last year, and it looks like they will continue to be this year.  Look out for a lot of those on this blog this spring and summer.  I will also be doing a post to help you find a good strapless bra for all these off the shoulder looks!! Stay tuned!
2. White dress – I think everyone needs to have at least one white dress, if nothing else, for all the obligatory white parties that will come up at some point.  I bought this white one this year.  The one on the wishlist is beautiful.  I purchased that dress in a light blue color and I can’t wait to wear it.  Both dresses will be coming to the blog soon!
3. A fun, bright shoe! –  There is nothing like having a fun shoe to brighten your wardrobe for spring!
4. Floral dress – Obviously floral season is here.  There are so many pretty, floral dresses.  I bought this dress, and I can’t wait to wear it!  Right now it’s on sale.
5. Floral skirt – I have been obsessively looking for new floral skirts this season.  I may end up repurposing some old skirts (like this one), but I think the color of this skirt is so beautiful.  I am waiting for it to go on sale!
6. A pink bag – Another thing I have been really looking for this spring is pink!!!  This pink bag would be a great addition to my wardrobe.
7. Tassel earrings – I’ve been seeing a lot of these lately…they are so fun and add some pop to any outfit.  I just bought myself a couple of tassel earrings yesterday!
8. Tassel earrings – (Same comment as 7).  Love how these ones are ombre.  Bright colored accessories are where it’s at!
9. Block heel sandals – I have been seeing these everywhere.  I need to get myself a pair!  I love these ones since mustard yellow is my favorite neutral!!  In fact, I’m going to order them right now (seriously)..they are only $32.99.
10. Fun colored Chuck Taylors – I currently have two pairs of Chucks…the metallic ones that you saw here and a grey pair.  I really want a new, fun color to add to my shoe wardrobe!
11. Floral skirt –  (Same comment as 5).  You really can’t have too many.  They are so pretty.
12. Statement sleeve top!! – There are so many different types of statement sleeve tops…in fact, I should do a post about all the different types and where to find them.  But anyway, I love this top!  I bought it in Minneapolis over the weekend.  You can see a pic here, and some other pics from my trip (here, here).  I love the ruffles.
13. Off shoulder pinstripe top – Variations of this top are everywhere!!!  I know you’ve seen them.  I haven’t decided if I should get caught up in the trend and buy a new one or if I should just make-do with another blue off shoulder top I already own.  That sounds boring, but it may be necessary to save money.  Womp Womp.
14. Gingham!! –  I love gingham.  It’s so crisp and chic.  Fortunately, I already own some gingham items (here), so I think I will just find a way to update the items for this Spring instead of going out and buying a bunch of new things.
15. Fun clutch – You all know I love a fun clutch.  They can add pizzaz to any outfit.  I love the tassels and texture on this one.
16. Fun sunglasses – I am all about getting cheap, trendy sunglasses to adorn my face year-round. Spring and summer are times to really have fun with your sunglasses!
17. White pants/jeans!!! – I have wanted white pants for years. I have never been able to find a pair that looks good on me. Finding pants is already difficult enough, fit-wise with the shape of my legs, but then light colored pants are generally an issue because they show every imperfection!! But they look so gosh darned chic!!! I think of how many fly outfits I can put together with some perfect white jeans or white pants, so I remain on the hunt!! Pray for me that I’ll be able to find my perfect pair. And when I do, I’ll be happy to share the process and how you can find the right pair for you too!! Also, if you have found your perfect pair and you have any suggestions for me, please let me know!!
18. Pom Pom Sandals – I have been seeing pop poms everywhere and on everything.  They are cute and fun!  I may actually try a DIY to incorporate pom poms into my spring wardrobe.  Stay tuned.
