Happy Tuesday, Friends!!  I hope you had an awesome holiday weekend celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  My weekend was fab and filled with relaxation.  I’m back to blogging!  Yay.  I only posted once last week, and my goal is generally to post twice!  It’s been a struggle to manage life while staying on a regular blogging schedule, but I’m working on it!

So, for those of you that are wondering about the title of my post, “Bad and Boujee” is a super popular song right now by the Migos.  I referenced the song in this post.  Anyway, I couldn’t think of a title for this post and this is what popped in my mind.  Haha. I would just like to note, for the record, that I prefer the spelling Bougie to Boujee.  Bougie is derived from the French, bourgeois or bourgeoisie, and has become a way to describe someone who is high class or fancy in some way.  Lol.  This outfit is bougie and somewhat preppy.  I wore this outfit to church on Sunday and previewed the look on Instagram/Facebook yesterday.  I’ve been obsessed with this skirt lately.  I’ve worn it several times in the last couple of weeks, including to a wedding last week (see the look on Instagram here).  I purchased the skirt from Charlotte Russe on Cyber Monday.  Unfortunately, this color is sold out, but there are other colors that can be found here.  If you want the pink skirt in your life, which you should, there is a very similar one here.  One of my favorite color combinations is pink and grey. For this look, I introduced navy and white to pair with it.  I accessorized with an awesome, silver statement necklace and a color-blocked satchel bag that complement the look.  The look is chic and fun and BOUGIE.  Hehe.
