Howdy, y’all! Lol. I’m feeling very Texas-y today. Like I mentioned in my last post, I went to Austin last weekend. I wore this look (more or less) to my friend’s baby shower. I had a great time in Austin. I didn’t do too much…I basically just attended the baby shower, went to dinner, and took a few pics for the blog. I was only in Austin for about a day and a half. So, friends of mine in Austin, don’t be mad if I didn’t see you!! I’ll see you soon! Anyhoo, I digress. Let’s talk about this outfit, shall we?
I bought this dress at a store called Sam Moon about a month ago. It was approx $9!! I was immediately drawn to it because of the sleeves, the color, and the price! I’m happy it’s been so warm in Texas lately, so I can still wear fall clothes! This is definitely a fall in winter look. As a side note, if you aren’t familiar with Sam Moon, it’s awesome. It’s sorta all-over-the-place, but if you have patience (the same type of patience you need to shop at Forever 21 or TJ Maxx or something), it’s worth it. It’s a great place to buy accessories. That yellow bag I’m often toting around in my posts (here, here, here) came from there, and was less than $30! I’ve also gotten a lot of jewelry from there, as well. In fact, I think the earrings I’m wearing in this post came from there too and the clutch for that matter. But I digress again….back to the outfit! To complete my fall in winter look, I went with a fall hat and cowboy boots! PSA: If you live in Texas, you should own a pair of cowboy boots.
By the way, I haven’t forgotten about the GIVEAWAY I mentioned last week for the necklace featured in my posts, here and here. I’m still working on the details, but it’s going to be awesome and you’re going to want to win…even more than you already do! Look out for it at the end of the week. STAY TUNED!! Have a great week, and thanks so much for reading!

Thanks, J.R.!!
How did I grow up in Texas and never own a pair of boots? I must fix that – your boots are so cute!
Yes, you must! Haha. Thanks, Anna!
