Hi, Friends and Sleevenistas! Do y’all believe in waiting until after October 31 or waiting until after Thanksgiving to get into the Christmas spirit? The Christmas movie marathons have already started on Hallmark, and Mariah Carey has decreed that we can start playing her #1 Christmas hit on November 1. Holiday decor has already started to arrive in stores, and it makes me want to start decorating ASAP (even though I usually believe in waiting until after Thanksgiving)! There’s a reason this upcoming season is called the most wonderful time of the year, so I can’t wait for it to begin! When decorating for the holidays, there are a few main items that are “must haves” for me! I love a good holiday wreath. A wreath on the front door sets the tone and gives a warm and inviting first impression. I also want to make my tree as beautiful as possible, so I love gorgeous ornaments and lights! I also love small decorative pieces to place around the house! Today, I am sharing some of my picks from new holiday arrivals!
Wreaths
If you are only going to put one thing on the outside of your home for the holidays, I would recommend a wreath! Wreaths are a classic holiday decoration that makes your home look welcoming and festive from the outside. If you are hosting this holiday season, a wreath is a must-have! I love that you can purchase wreaths in all different sizes, and if you have a large front window, a large wreath is always a great way to make a statement. Another option is hanging smaller wreaths on your individual, front windows. Whether you put your wreaths on your doors or windows, you can’t go wrong with a wreath this holiday season!
Christmas Tree Decor
Since my Christmas tree is my largest holiday decoration, I love going big! From the ornaments to the tree topper, lights, and tree skirt, I love it all! I love having a gorgeous, color-cohesive tree with coordinating ornaments and a color theme! Last year, I had a theme of gold, champagne, and white. Check out my Christmas tree from last year HERE! I can’t decide if I want to change up my tree topper this year, but if I do, there are so many options to choose from! You can choose from a snowflake, angel, star, and more to make it the highlight of your tree! I personally love white lights but if you prefer more color, colorful lights are always fun. Some of my favorite places to buy ornaments are At Home, Amazon, and Target! There are so many cute, festive options to make your tree shine!
Small Decorative Pieces
To add the holiday spirit throughout my home, I love adding small decorative pieces! Whether I’m adding pieces to my shelves, end tables, or kitchen counters, they are sure to spread some Christmas joy! I love adding small Christmas trees, reindeer, and seasonal floral arrangements. I always try to add a few of these pieces to each room for the full effect! Walmart, Target, and Amazon are great places to shop for these decorative pieces, and I’m sharing my favorites below!
I am absolutely loving these new holiday decorations, and I can’t wait to go shopping and start decorating! I will be adding a fun, new holiday wreath, decorating my fabulous tree, and adding those decorative touches through my home to really feel in the holiday spirit!
