Guess what day it is…it’s HUMPDAY!!!  Lol.  I used to crack up EVERY single time that Geico commercial came on.  Well, I’m happier than a camel on Wednesday because we are halfway through the week! It’s the second week of March!!! Can you believe it?  This year is already going by so quickly.  Before we know it, it will be over.  For me this year, March is the beginning of busy wedding season! Although I attended my first wedding of the year in January,  I’ve been invited to weddings in March, April, and June.  I love weddings!  I love getting all dressed up to have fun celebrating friends and loved ones.

Finding something to wear to a wedding is typically a big to-do.  I always want to look as fab as possible.  Sometimes I have a vision of how I’d like to look…maybe I’d like to be wearing a certain color or a certain fabric or a certain style of dress.  So then I set out to find an outfit (usually a dress) that fits my vision!  I often start on Shopstyle to search for whatever it is I’m looking for since it allows me to search thousands of retailers on one site.  My search often starts with “dress with sleeves” or whatever style I’m looking for, then I narrow the search by price or color and start browsing!  If I can’t find something that I like after searching online, then I go to the tailor to have something made!

Today’s look is the result of a successful online search.  This dress, in a way, embodies how I generally like to look at weddings – colorful and fun!  After I find the perfect dress, I move on to finding the perfect accessories!  What is your process for finding something to wear for a wedding?  Enjoy the rest of your week, and thanks so much for reading!
