Hi, Friends and Sleevenistas!  I don’t about you, but I’m so glad it’s the weekend!!  It’s been a long week, per usual, so I’m looking forward to having some time to myself to rest and relax.  How do you spend your weekends?  Do you use it as a time to get work done?  A time to have fun with your friends?  A time to do things for yourself?  A time to clean and get caught up with errands?  For me, especially this weekend, it’s all of the above.  However, the weekends I look forward to the most are the ones where I have ZERO plans.  It just feels so great to have nowhere to go. I wake up on Saturday, clean and do laundry, eat, and find some fun things to watch on Netflix, Hulu, or a movie channel.  That describes my perfect weekend day.  On Sunday, I wake up, go to church, then relax for the rest of the day!  Since it’s football season, I typically have football on while I work on the blog or do other things to prepare for the week.  What’s your weekend routine?

Whatever you like to do on the weekend, this look is definitely weekend ready!  I realize it may not feel like fall yet, especially in Houston, but pretty soon we may have to start dressing for the season, not the weather!  I mentioned in a recent post that I like to ease into fall by wearing fall colors, but even though you may not be wearing them yet, it’s time to start buying key fall pieces.

I’ve been on the hunt for booties and sweaters and such, and along the way, I picked up this great utility jacket from Amazon.  I have one that’s a darker olive color (from another store), and it’s one of my favorite casual jackets.  It’s my preferred jacket to travel with, so I love that I have a new color now.  It also comes in several other colors too.  I kinda want to get the pink one!  Anyway, I paired the jacket with this fabulous $12 tee that you all need and my favorite leopard slides.   This is not a sponsored Amazon post, but I picked up this whole outfit from Amazon!  I bought the jeans for my recent trip to Seattle, and I really love the fit.  I love that they’re high waisted, and I wear them all the time! I’m wearing a size 31 for reference.
