Would you believe that I got this cute ankara print fabric from Amazon?? I have it in two prints. I wore this dress to a summer day party, and I’ve worn my other print of this dress to a concert and on vacation. One thing I’ll note about buying ankara prints on Amazon is that, in my experience, you aren’t getting the thick wax fabric but instead, a thinner fabric with the same or similar print. The sellers often use pictures with wax fabric as the first few photos, but that isn’t accurate. Always check the reviews too!

Well hello there, Friends and Sleevenistas! It’s been a LONG time! I’ve missed y’all so much! I hope you’ve all been doing well. I can’t believe it’s been over a year and a half since I’ve even checked in with y’all on here. Sincerest apologies for abandoning this platform! If you’re wondering what’s been up my sleeve, I’ve been doing well! Mostly just working and taking it easy. I’ve also traveled a little bit this year – so far, to DC (to visit friends), Austin (for an Amazon influencer event), Playa del Carmen (for a friend’s birthday), and Los Cabos (for a wedding). I’ve been learning how to make reels on Instagram, so I’ve created a couple of reels recapping some of the trips. I still hope to make reels of the others, but in the meanwhile, feel free to check out my Austin and Playa del Carmen recap reels if you’re interested!
Lately, I’ve been working hard to get some assistance so that I can be more organized and consistent when it comes to managing all aspects of my blog. God willing, you’ll soon be hearing from me more frequently and consistently, including weekly blog posts and a newsletter! I’m really excited about the newsletter. The title of this post is a newsletter hint. 😉
